Corning Gorilla Glass 2 – CES 2012

corning-gorilla-glass-2-ces-2012The new Gorilla Glass 2 panels for smartphones and tablets, is 20% thinner than before, as strong/scratch resistant as the original Gorilla Glass, which certainly help manufacturers make lighter and smaller smartphones.

Corning said that it’s already shipping the new Corning Gorilla Glass 2 to phone manufacturers will be used even in new Windows-powered tablets later this year.
